- 300grams green prawns
- 1/3 cup thickened cream
- 20grams butter
- 600grams frozen straight cut chips, cooked according to packet directions (to serve)
- 1tablespoons parsley, chopped
- 1 pinch pepper (for seasoning)
- 1teaspoons olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 4 scotch fillet (rump or porterhouse steak)
- 1 pinch pink salt ground (to taste)

Enjoy the best of both worlds, and learn how to make surf and turf with a creamy garlic sauce. It’s gourmet dining made easy.
Method
Step 1 of 5
Brush steaks on both sides with oil and season with salt and pepper.
Step 2 of 5
Heat a heavy-based frying pan over medium high heat. Add 2 steaks and cook for 2 1/2 mins, before turning and cooking second side for a further 2 minutes. Remove from pan and cover to keep warm. Reheat pan and add remaining steaks.
Step 3 of 5
Cook as before and remove from pan.
Step 4 of 5
Add butter, prawns and garlic and toss over heat until prawns change colour. Stir in cream and parsley and with a wooden spoon, scrape sediment from base of pan. Cook for 1 minute.
Step 5 of 5
Place steaks onto plates and top with prawn sauce. Serve with chips.
