  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 8 large green prawns, peeled with head and tail intact
  • 80grams butter, softened
  • 2 gourmet tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 small red onion, finely sliced
  • 1tablespoons parsley, chopped
  • 2 baby cos lettuce, sliced crossways
  • 1 lemon, 2 tbs juiced
  • 4 scotch fillet steaks
  • 1tablespoons olive oil

Method

Step 1 of 4

Combine butter, garlic, parsley and lemon juice in a bowl and set aside.

Step 2 of 4

Heat a chargrill pan over high heat. Brush steaks with oil and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes each side (depending on thickness of the steaks) or until done to your liking. Transfer to a warm plate, cover loosely with foil and rest.

Step 3 of 4

Add prawns to pan and cook until they change colour.

Step 4 of 4

Top steaks with a dollop of garlic butter and prawns. Serve with lettuce, tomato and onion on the side.
