- 500grams lean beef mince
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2tablespoons no-added-salt tomato paste
- 400grams can cherry tomatoes in juice
- 60grams baby spinach leaves, roughly chopped
- 320grams mix-a-mato tomatoes, roughly chopped
- 1/4 bunch basil, leaves picked
- 25grams parmesan, finely grated (to serve)

Description
Try this summer spaghetti bolognese recipe with sweet cherry tomatoes and fresh basil. This healthier pasta is sure to be a winner with the whole family.
Method
Step 1 of 4
Cook pasta in a saucepan of salted, boiling water according to packet instructions. Drain, reserving ¾ cup cooking liquid.
Step 2 of 4
Meanwhile, heat oil in a large, deep frying pan over high heat. Cook mince, breaking up lumps with a wooden spoon, for 6 minutes or until well browned. Add garlic and cook, stirring, for 1 minute or until fragrant.
Step 3 of 4
Add tomato paste and stir to combine. Add canned tomatoes and reserved cooking liquid, then stir to combine. Add spinach and pasta, then cook, tossing, for 2 minutes or until spinach is wilted and mixture is combined. Add mix-a-mato tomatoes and toss to combine. Season with pepper.

Serve pasta scattered with basil and parmesan.
