- 1/2 cup plain flour
- 6 small beurre bosc pears, halved and cored
- 1/2teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 1/2 cups thick vanilla custard (to serve)
- 1/4 cup caster sugar

Method
Step 1 of 3
Preheat oven to 200°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Place pears, cut-side up, on the tray.
Step 2 of 3
Combine flour, sugar and cinnamon in a large bowl. Add butter and, using your fingertips, rub in until it resembles coarse breadcrumbs. Stir in oats.
Step 3 of 3
Press equal portions of oat mixture onto each pear. Transfer baking tray to oven and bake for 40 minutes or until topping is golden and pears are tender. Serve with custard.
