  • 1tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 brown onion, finely chopped
  • 1teaspoons ground cumin
  • 250grams beef mince
  • 2 bottles Macro Organic bolognese chunky pasta sauce 500g
  • 150grams Woolworths spaghetti
  • 1/4 bunch continental parsley, leaves picked, finely chopped

Description

Imagine if you could have your favourite pasta experience (juicy bolognese!) in soup form... and then stop imagining, because it's here! Plus, it's ready in just half an hour.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Heat oil in a large heavy-based saucepan over medium-high heat. Add onion and cook for 5 minutes or until softened. Add cumin. Cook for 1 minute or until fragrant. Add mince. Cook, breaking up lumps with a wooden spoon, for 5 minutes or until browned. Add pasta sauce and 4 cups water. Bring to the boil.

Step 2 of 3

Break spaghetti in half and add to soup. Reduce heat to medium. Cook, stirring often, for 12 minutes or until pasta is tender.

Step 3 of 3

Stir through three-quarters of the parsley. Season with freshly cracked black pepper. Ladle soup among bowls. Sprinkle with remaining parsley. Serve.
