  • 500grams lean beef mince
  • 1/3 cup Woolworths secret burger sauce
  • 1 red onion, peeled
  • 4 brioche buns, split
  • 1tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 slices Woolworths smokey cheese slices
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1/4 head iceberg lettuce, shredded

Description

Make dinnertime super simple with these beef burgers, which are ready in just 15 minutes. Top with your favourite toppings for the ultimate weeknight feast.

Method

Step 1 of 4

Place beef mince and 2 tbs burger sauce in a medium bowl. Coarsely grate half of the onion and add to mince mixture. Mix until well combined. Divide mixture into 4 balls.

Step 2 of 4

Heat a large frying pan over high heat. Toast buns, cut-side down, in pan for 1-2 minutes or until golden. Transfer to a plate.

Step 3 of 4

Heat oil in the frying pan. Cook patties in batches, pressing down with the back of an egg flip to flatten. Cook patties for 1-2 minutes before flipping. Top with cheese and cook for a further 1-2 minutes or until cheese begins to melt. Top bun bases with burger sauce, then patties.

Step 4 of 4

Thinly slice remaining onion half into rounds. Top patties with onion, tomato and lettuce. Sandwich with bun tops. Serve.
