  • 3 tomatoes, skinned, deseeded, and diced
  • 1tablespoons capers, rinsed, gently squeezed dry, and chopped
  • 1 handful radishes, diced
  • 1 orange capsicum, deseeded and diced
  • 4 spring onions, finely chopped
  • 1 fresh red chilli, deseeded and finely chopped
  • 1 orange, juice
  • 1 lime, juice
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch freshly ground black pepper
  • 250grams smoked salmon, chopped into bite-sized pieces
  • 4-6tablespoons Greek-style yoghurt
  • 1 lemon, juice
  • 1 pinch five-spice powder

Method

Step 1 of 3

In a bowl, mix together the tomatoes, capers, radish, capsicum, spring onions, and chilli. Tip over the orange and lime juice, and season with salt and black pepper. Toss together, and leave to stand for about 10 minutes, to allow the flavours to develop.

Step 2 of 3

To make the spiced yoghurt dressing, mix together the yoghurt, lemon juice, and five-spice powder in a small bowl. Season to taste.

Step 3 of 3

When ready to serve, add the smoked salmon pieces to the salad mixture, and stir through well. Serve with the yoghurt dip on the side.
