If you love pesto, you'll love this delicious and comforting chicken pasta dish which comes together easily in the slow cooker.

Method

Step 1 of 3

In the slow cooker, place the chicken breasts at the bottom. Season it with salt and cover with pesto. Place the butter pieces on the top. Cover with lid. Cook on LOW for 5 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours or until the chicken is cooked.

Step 2 of 3

Before the chicken pesto is cooked, prepare the pasta. Cook the pasta according to box instructions. Set aside half a cup of pasta water.

Step 3 of 3

Shred the chicken. Mix in the cooked pasta, pasta water, cheese and baby spinach. Cook for 15 minutes or until the cheese is melty.
