Sesame & Garlic Beef

- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup hoisin sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2teaspoons sesame oil
- 750grams beef stir-fry
- 1 large red capsicum, deseeded, cut into strips
- 1 red onion, sliced
- 150grams beans, shredded
- 1tablespoons white sesame seeds, toasted
Method
Step 1 of 3
Combine 2 tbs oil, hoi sin sauce, garlic and sesame oil in a large bowl. Add beef and stir until well combined. Stand for 20 minutes.
Step 2 of 3
Heat wok over high heat. When hot add 2 tsp oil to cover base of wok. Add beef in batches and stir-fry for 2 minutes or until browned, adding more oil if needed. Remove cooked meat to a bowl before adding more.
Step 3 of 3
Add onion and capsicum to wok and stir-fry for 1 minute. Add beans and 1 tbs water. Toss until well combined. Return beef to wok and toss well to reheat and mix through. Transfer to a platter. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve.
