  • 2tablespoons coarsely ground roasted chicory root
  • 12 raw cacao nibs, crushed
  • 3 2/3 cup water, boiling
  • 1teaspoons honey (to taste)

Method

Step 1 of 3

Place the roasted chicory and cacao nibs (including husks) in a teapot.

Step 2 of 3

Add the boiling water and leave to infuse for 4 minutes.

Step 3 of 3

Strain the infusion into cups or mugs and sweeten with honey or sugar to taste. Serve at once.
