Reindeer Gingerbread Biscuits

15 Ingredients
- 1/2teaspoons baking powder
- plastic cling wrap
- 3 cup plain flour
- 125grams unsalted butter
- milk chocolate chips
- milk chocolate, melted
- 2teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2teaspoons ground cloves
- 2teaspoons ground ginger
- baking paper
- white chocolate melts
- 3/4 cup golden syrup
- 300grams raspberry jellies
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup brown sugar

Preheat oven to 180°C. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper.

Sift flour, baking powder, cinnamon, cloves and ginger into a medium bowl.

On low heat melt butter, golden syrup and brown sugar together until smooth.
Step 4 of 8
Add flour mixture with the egg and stir until combined, make sure that the dough is mixed thoroughly. Divide dough in half, cover in plastic wrap and chill for 20 minutes.

Roll out 1 portion of dough on a lightly floured surface until 5mm thick.

Using the gingerbread cutters, cut out shapes. Carefully lift onto trays.

Bake for 12-15 minutes. It should be firm to touch and golden in colour.

To decorate your reindeer, melt the milk chocolate block, according to packet instructions. Then spread on the top of each biscuit. Before it sets, place two white chocolate melts on top for the eyes, and place a milk chocolate chip upside down in the centre of the white melt, using the melted chocolate to help the choc chip stick. Then place a raspberry jelly underneath as the nose.
