Description
Say hello to your new lunchtime fave – the quiche toastie. A cheese and ham filling is placed on white bread and baked in the oven until golden.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Preheat oven to 200°C/180°C fan-forced. Line a large baking tray with baking paper. Place bread on tray and, using fingers or back of a spoon, create indents in bread centres.
Step 2 of 3
Whisk egg and cream in a small jug until combined. Combine ham, onion and cheese in a medium bowl. Season with pepper.
Step 3 of 3
Divide ham mixture among bread cases. Pour over egg mixture. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden and set. Halve toasties and serve.
