- 1tablespoons sesame oil
- 800grams green banana prawns, peeled and deviened
- 1tablespoons fish sauce
- 150grams thin dried egg noodles
- 3 red chillies
- 2tablespoons red capsicum, julienned
- 4 cm piece ginger
- 1 lemongrass stick
- 1/2 cup snow pea sprouts, trimmed
- 1 spring onion, sliced diagonally
- 4 French shallots, chopped
- 1 cup green beans, cut into 2cm lengths
- 1/3 cup raw macadamia
- 2 limes, quartered
- 1tablespoons ground cumin
- 4 cup reduced salt chicken stock
- 1/3 cup laksa paste (see basic laksa paste recipe)
- 270milliliter coconut milk
- 1tablespoons sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic

Method
Step 1 of 5
Basic Laska Paste: Process red chillies, garlic cloves, shallots, ginger, lemongrass, cumin, raw macadamia nuts, fish sauce and sesame oil into a food processor until mixture forms a smooth paste. Prawn Laska

Cook noodles in boiling water following packet directions. Drain and divide among 4 large serving bowls.
Step 3 of 5
Heat oil in a large saucepan over high heat. Add prawns and cook until golden. Transfer to a plate. Add paste to pan and cook for 1 minute or until fragrant.
Step 4 of 5
Add stock and bring to the boil. Add beans and cook for 1-2 minutes. Return prawns to pan and cook for 1 minute or until cooked through and beans are tender. Stir in milk and season with salt and pepper.
Step 5 of 5
Ladle soup into the bowls over noodles and garnish with onion, sprouts and capsicum. Serve with lime.
