  • 1/4 cup raw sugar
  • 125grams margarine, melted
  • 1 1/2 cup plain flour
  • 250grams dark chocolate, melted
  • 1 eggwhite, lightly whisked
  • 1/3 cup soy milk
  • 1 pinch sea salt ground (to taste)

Method

Step 1 of 4

Preheat oven to 150°C. Grease a baking tray or line with baking paper.

Step 2 of 4

Add flour, sugar, baking powder and salt to a food processor. Process until well combined. Add spread and milk. Process until a dough forms. Turn dough out onto a floured bench top and knead until smooth. Roll out with a rolling pin until 5mm thick. Cut dough into 1cm-wide strips.

Step 3 of 4

Lay strips onto a tray. Brush with egg white. Bake for 25 minutes. Remove from oven and cool on tray.

Step 4 of 4

Zigzag melted chocolate over and lay on a baking paper lined tray. Chill until set.
