- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 1 brown onion, chopped
- 1 cup fresh parsley leaves, chopped
- 500grams extra lean beef burgers
- 400grams canned diced tomatoes
- 1 pinch pepper to taste
- 2teaspoons olive oil
- 700grams passata
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 pinch pink salt ground (to taste)

Method
Step 1 of 9
Break the Peppercorn Extra Lean Beef Burgers into quarters, then roll into balls.

Heat 2 tsp of olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Cook the meatballs for 2 minutes until lightly brown on all sides.
Step 4 of 9
Set aside.

In the same pot, cook the chopped onion and garlic until softened. Add the wine.

Stir through the tomatoes, passata and then the fresh herbs. Season lightly with salt & pepper.

Return the meatballs to sauce. Simmer for 15 minutes.
