  • 250grams Woolies pork & veal mince
  • 210grams Woolies red kidney beans
  • 1/2 medium carrot
  • 1/2 small brown onion
  • 1 sprinkle bush spice (or italian herbs)
  • 2 clove garlic
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper

A very tasty and moist rissole that is our favourite rissole recipe.

Method

Step 1 of 4

In a bowl combine the mince and mashed red kidney beans

Step 2 of 4

Grate the carrot and finely chop onion and garlic and add to mixture

Step 3 of 4

Sprinkle the spice/herbs and salt and pepper on mixture and crack an egg over the lot. Blend together thoroughly. I use my hand to mix it together.

Step 4 of 4

Place in the fridge covered for an hour to let flavours mix together. Take from fridge and roll into balls and fry for approx. 20 mins turning to brown all over.
