Description
These are very pretty and you can use them as a party snack or garnish. For an extra kick, try sprinkling them with smoked sweet paprika.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Preheat oven to 180˚C.
Step 2 of 3
Use either the slicing attachment on a food processor, mandoline, or Japanese vegetable slicer to slice the unpeeled sweet potato, beetroot, parsnip, apple, and pear 2mm thick. Place the slices in a single layer on oiled baking sheets. Put into oven.
Step 3 of 3
Reduce oven temperature to 120˚C. Bake for 1 1/2 hours, turning the slices over every 20 minutes, until dried. Cool in single layers on wire racks. Sprinkle with salt. Serve at room temperature, with or without dips.
