Description

A comforting flask of porridge bursting with aromatic flavours makes a great on-the-go meal. Whip up this quick, easy, nutritious recipe for the kids.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Place oats, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, orange juice and half of the zest in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring frequently, or until mixture comes to the boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring frequently, or until porridge has thickened.

Step 2 of 3

Meanwhile, in a separate small saucepan, add blueberries and 1 tbs water and cook on medium heat for 3 minutes, or until softened slightly.

Step 3 of 3

Serve porridge topped with blueberries and remaining zest.
