  • 1/2 cup caster sugar
  • 3 eggs

  • 180grams butter, melted

Method

Step 1 of 7

Preheat oven to 180°C.

Step 2 of 7

In a blender blitz orange until smooth and add caster sugar and blitz till all are mixed.

Step 3 of 7

In a large bowl whisk together flour, poppy seeds and salt.

Step 4 of 7

Melt butter and let cool slightly. Add eggs and whisk together.

Step 5 of 7

Mix orange mixture with the butter.

Step 6 of 7

Add wet mixture to the flour and gently fold mixture until combined.

Step 7 of 7

Put mixture into a lined cake pan and bake for approximately 40-45 mins.
