  • 2tablespoons maple syrup

  • 170grams blueberries

Description

Like an ice-cream delight, but better: this chocolate-dipped waffle cone is filled with delicious mixed berries and a homemade cinnamon-maple cream for a decadent dessert.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Place chocolate in a small bowl. Working with one cone at a time, dip the top of each cone 1 cm into chocolate to coat. Reserve 2 tsp pistachio. Sprinkle chocolate border with remaining pistachio. Place cones on a sheet of baking paper and set aside for 20 minutes or until chocolate has set.

Meanwhile, place cream cheese in a small bowl and stir with a wooden spoon until smooth. Reserve 2 tsp maple syrup. Add cinnamon and remaining maple syrup to cream cheese and stir until well combined.

Step 3 of 3

Combine berries in a bowl. Sprinkle cream-cheese mixture with reserved pistachios and drizzle with reserved maple syrup. Fill cones with berries and dollop with cream-cheese mixture. Drizzle with reserved maple syrup. Serve.
