- 24 Woolworths cup cake mini iced
- 800grams vanilla frosting
- 8 drops green food colouring
- 1/2 cup Woolworths desiccated coconut
- 1/4 cup 100s & 1000s
- 400grams gummy bears
- 1 kool mints made for mouths
- edible black marker
Description
Celebrate your star-studded football team this season with our easy, creative cake inspired by the world-stopping soccer pitch!
Method
Step 1 of 5
Remove cupcakes from packaging and arrange closely together on a serving board.
Step 2 of 5
Transfer half a tub of frosting to a piping bag or reusable bag with a corner snipped. Add remaining frosting to a medium bowl. Add 4 drops green food colouring and stir to combine. Transfer green frosting to a piping bag or reusable bag with a corner snipped.
Step 3 of 5
In a small bowl, add coconut and 4 drops green food colouring and stir until coconut is completely coated and coloured. Reserve 22 gummy bears to use as soccer players.
Step 4 of 5
To assemble the pitch, fill gaps between cupcakes with remaining gummy bears. Pipe green icing onto cupcakes, leaving a 2cm border. Smooth icing. Pipe plain coloured icing around the outside of green icing. Top plain icing with sprinkles.
Step 5 of 5
Cover green icing with green coconut and smooth with the back of a spoon. Pipe pitch lines with plain icing, using the image as a guide. Gently push gummy bears players into the field. Draw soccer-ball markings on mint lolly with edible marker and place on the field. Serve.
