  • 1/2 cup traditional rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened calcium-fortified almond milk
  • 2 large frozen bananas, thickly sliced
  • 2teaspoons matcha powder
  • 120grams baby spinach leaves
  • 2 1/4tablespoons white chia seeds (save 1/4 tsp to serve)
  • 2teaspoons maple syrup
  • 60grams blueberries

Description

Enjoy the flavour of matcha green tea in your morning smoothie bowl. This recipe is nutritionally approved and packed with banana, spinach and blueberries.

Method

Step 1 of 2

Reserve 3 tsp oats. Place almond milk, banana, matcha powder, spinach, chia seeds, syrup and remaining oats in a blender and blitz until smooth.

Step 2 of 2

Divide smoothie mixture among 2 bowls. Top with reserved oats, blueberries and extra chia seeds. Serve.
