- 1 brown onion, finely chopped
- 200grams lean beef mince
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 400grams canned Woolworths no-added-salt diced tomatoes
- 1 1/4 cup Woolworths salt-reduced chicken stock
- 4 dried lasagne sheets, roughly broken
- 1/2 bunch basil, leaves picked
- 20grams parmesan, shaved

Description
Kids will love this warming and filling lasagne hack made with lean beef mince. Load up a thermos to enjoy on the way to or from after-school activities.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Spray a medium saucepan with oil and heat over medium heat. Add onion and cook for 5 minutes, stirring, or until softened. Increase heat to high. Add mince and garlic, then cook for 5 minutes, breaking up lumps with a wooden spoon, or until mince has browned.
Step 2 of 3
Add tomatoes, stock, 1/4 cup water, then bring to the boil. Reduce heat to medium and simmer, covered, stirring occasionally, for 20 minutes or until slightly thickened. Add pasta and simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes, stirring regularly, or until pasta is tender. Stir in half of the basil and season with pepper.
Step 3 of 3
To serve, preheat flasks by filling with boiling water and standing for 5 minutes. Drain. Spoon heated stew into flasks and top with parmesan and remaining basil.
