  • 250grams Woolworths lean beef mince
  • 500grams jar Macro Organic tomato, garlic & basil chunky pasta sauce
  • 1/2 cup basil leaves, plus extra small leaves (to serve)
  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • 1/3 cup smooth ricotta
  • 1/2 cup shredded pizza cheese
  • 5milliliter olive oil cooking spray

Description

Transform lasagne into bite-sized snacks that will be a hit at your next party. These morsels feature familiar flavours such as fragrant basil and smooth ricotta.

Method

Step 1 of 4

Preheat oven to 220°C/200°C fan-forced.

Step 2 of 4

Heat oil in a medium frying pan over high heat. Cook mince, breaking up lumps with a wooden spoon, for 7 minutes or until browned. Add sauce and season, then bring to the boil. Reduce to medium heat and simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes or until sauce has thickened. Remove pan from heat. Stir in basil.

Step 3 of 4

Meanwhile, grease a 24-hole mini muffin pan. Press 1 wrapper into each hole to form a case.

Step 4 of 4

Divide mince mixture among holes. Top with 1 tsp ricotta, scatter over pizza cheese and spray with oil. Bake for 20 minutes or until wontons are golden and crisp. Stand in pan for 5 minutes, then serve topped with extra basil leaves.
