  • 1kilograms (12) beef asado-cut ribs
  • 240grams Korean BBQ bulgogi sauce
  • 1 cup pear juice
  • 4 cups jasmine rice, cooked
  • 3 Lebanese cucumbers, sliced
  • 1/3 bunch bunch coriander, leaves picked
  • 1tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted
  • 1 long red chilli, sliced

Description

Packed full of flavour and easy to make at home, these Korean BBQ ribs in bulgogi sauce will become a fast family favourite!

Method

Step 1 of 4

Place beef in a large shallow dish. Add sauce and pear juice and turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour to marinate.

Step 2 of 4

Drain ribs. Transfer marinade mixture to a saucepan. Bring marinade mixture to the boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes or until reduced slightly.

Step 3 of 4

Preheat a chargrill or barbecue grill to medium-high heat. Add beef and cook, brushing with some of the marinade mixture, for 1-2 minutes each side or until cooked and browned.

Step 4 of 4

Spoon rice onto a platter. Top with beef and cucumber. Drizzle beef with any leftover marinade sauce. Serve sprinkled with coriander, sesame seeds and chilli.
