  • 1L vanilla ice-cream
  • 220grams chocolate topping
  • 125grams milk chocolate solid eggs
  • 3 mocha hot cross buns

Method

Step 1 of 5

Preheat oven to 160°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.

Step 2 of 5

Transfer ice-cream to a large mixing bowl and set aside for 10 minutes to soften slightly.

Step 3 of 5

Set 6 of the chocolate eggs aside. Roughly chop remaining eggs and mix into softened ice-cream. Scoop ice-cream back into the carton and freeze for 30 minutes or until set.

Meanwhile, roughly tear hot cross buns into 2cm chunks. Place on prepared tray and bake for 10 minutes or until toasted and crunchy. Set aside.

Step 5 of 5

Scoop 2-3 scoops of ice-cream into a serving bowl or glass and sprinkle over toasted hot cross bun pieces. Drizzle over chocolate sauce and top with reserved chocolate eggs. Serve immediately.
