  • 1/2teaspoons chilli flakes
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 300grams short cut bacon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted peanuts
  • 2 butter flavoured microwave popcorn

Method

Step 1 of 3

Place bacon into a cold, large non-stick frying pan over medium heat and cook for 10 minutes, turning occasionally, or until crisp and well browned. Remove from pan, allow to cool slightly, then roughly chop.

Step 2 of 3

Add peanuts to the same pan and stir over medium heat for 3-4 minutes or until golden. Add honey, butter and chilli flakes (optional) and stir until butter has melted and ingredients are combined.

Step 3 of 3

Return bacon to pan and stir well to coat. Meanwhile, microwave popcorn following packet instructions. Transfer to a large bowl, discarding any unpopped kernels. Add bacon mixture and toss well to combine. Serve.
