  • 1 small red onion, peeled and sliced
  • 300grams pickles, store bought jar, drained
  • 2teaspoons sriracha sauce
  • 1teaspoons olive oil
  • 4 pita bread

Description

The combination of textures and spices make for an exciting and flavourful kebab.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Heat up a pan to a medium heat with the olive oil and pan fry the halloumi slices for 5 minutes, turning half way.

Step 2 of 3

Slice the onions and pickles into bite size portions and set to one side. Place the pita breads into the oven to warm for 1 minute.

Step 3 of 3

Remove the halloumi from the oven and allow drain on some kitchen paper. Stuff the pita with the halloumi and vegetables, then spread over the sriracha.
