Description
Have a wickedly fun time this Halloween by making this edible Jack-o'-lantern. The littlies will love this creepy creation made entirely of fresh fruit.
Method
Step 1 of 2
Cut 3 orange wedges in half crossways. Using 1 orange wedge and 2 halved pieces, form an upside-down hollow triangle on a shallow 26cm round dish. Repeat to form another hollow triangle (the hollow triangles act as the Jack-o’-lantern’s eyes). Repeat to form a smaller triangular nose.
Step 2 of 2
Pack remaining orange wedges in and around eyes and nose, leaving a crescent shape for the mouth. Fill mouth area with apple slices. Fill eyes and nose area with blueberries. Use pear to form a stalk on top of Jack-o’-lantern. Serve.
