- 1kilograms white fish fillets
- 500grams raw prawns
- 1 bunch coriander
- 1 bunch flat-leaf parsley
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1tablespoons paprika
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- 1/2teaspoons ground cumin
- 1 pinch mace
- 1/4teaspoons salt
- 1/4teaspoons pepper
- 2tablespoons white wine vinegar
- 50grams butter
- 2tablespoons olive oil
- 1 large bowl of fine Chinese noodles, soaked
- 1 pack of filo pastry
- 3tablespoons plain flour, to seal
Method
Step 1 of 5
Put the fish and prawns in a large bowl with the herbs, garlic, spices, salt and pepper and vinegar. Cover with clingfilm and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Step 2 of 5
Melt the butter in a heavy-based casserole, add the oil, and cook the fish and prawns until the flesh begins to flake. Stir in the soaked noodles and cook for 10 minutes over low heat.

Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Step 4 of 5
Prepare the pastilla. Spread the filling in a thick layer over the base. Cover with the filo sheets, seal and butter as described.
Step 5 of 5
Transfer to the oven and bake for 30 minutes.
