- 2teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
- 600grams beef sausages
- 375grams Zafarelli penne rigati
- 1 zucchini, halved lengthways, sliced
- 1 cup Woolworths frozen Australian peas
- 285grams Keen's meal base curried sausages
- 1/4 bunch Woolworths continental parsley, leaves picked
Description
There's nothing like a comforting bowl of pasta to satisfy the tastebuds, and this budget-friendly curried sausage recipe won't disappoint.
Method
Step 1 of 4
Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Cook sausages for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through. Transfer sausages to a plate. Slice.
Step 2 of 4
Meanwhile, cook pasta according to packet instructions. Drain, reserving ¼ cup cooking liquid.
Step 3 of 4
Return the frying pan to medium heat. Add zucchini and cook for 5 minutes until golden and softened.
Step 4 of 4
Return sausages to pan and add peas. Stir in the sauce. Bring to a simmer. Add pasta cooking liquid. Toss to combine. Sprinkle with parsley. Season with pepper. Serve.
