- 300grams thick dried egg noodles
- 1tablespoons sesame oil
- 2/3packets frozen chicken dumplings, just thawed
- 2 bunches broccolini, cut into 4cm lengths
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 spring onions, cut into 3cm pieces
- 1/2 cup shredded carrot
- 2tablespoons kecap manis sweet soy sauce
- 2tablespoons sweet chilli sauce
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 1tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted
- 1tablespoons vegetable oil
Description
Let your tastebuds travel to Asia with this delicious budget-friendly recipe of egg noodles and fried dumplings. It perfectly combines salty, sweet and spicy flavours.
Method
Step 1 of 4
Cook noodles in a saucepan of boiling water for 5 minutes or until tender. Drain.
Step 2 of 4
Meanwhile, combine sesame and vegetable oils and heat in a large non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook dumplings, in batches, for 1-2 minutes each side or until golden brown.
Step 3 of 4
Return all dumplings to the frying pan along with broccolini and garlic. Cook, tossing occasionally, for 2 minutes or until broccolini is almost tender.
Step 4 of 4
Add noodles, onion and carrot. Cook, tossing occasionally, for 3 minutes or until heated and combined. Drizzle with kecap manis and sweet chilli sauce. Toss for 1 minute or until well combined. Serve sprinkled with sprouts and sesame seeds.
