  • 270grams Woolworths lamb leg steaks
  • 200grams button mushrooms, halved
  • 47grams stroganoff recipe base
  • 250grams penne pasta
  • 1/4 bunch continental parsley, leaves picked, finely chopped
  • 300milliliter sour cream

Description

Does a creamy mushroom-and-lamb stroganoff get much simpler than this 25-minute recipe? We don't think so. Dig in.

Method

Step 1 of 4

Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add lamb steaks and cook for 4 minutes each side, or until cooked to your liking. Set aside.

Step 2 of 4

Add mushrooms to pan and cook, stirring occasionally, for 2 minutes or until browned. Add recipe base and 1¼ cups water. Stir to combine. Bring to the boil, stirring. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes or until sauce has thickened and mushrooms are tender.

Step 3 of 4

Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package instructions. Add stroganoff mixture and toss to combine.

Step 4 of 4

Slice lamb. Divide pasta mixture among bowls and top with lamb. Sprinkle with parsley and season with pepper. Serve with sour cream.
