- 1tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 400grams Woolworths pork & veal meatballs
- 175grams Masterfoods recipe base Tuscan meatballs
- 800grams canned diced Italian tomatoes
- 1 1/2 cups long-grain white rice
- 1/4 bunch continental parsley, leaves picked
Description
You won't get dinner on the table faster than this simple Italian-inspired meatballs recipe. It'll send tastebuds into a tailspin.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook, stirring occasionally, for 3 minutes, or until browned.
Step 2 of 3
Add recipe base and tomatoes and stir to combine. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes, or until sauce has thickened and meatballs are cooked through.
Step 3 of 3
Meanwhile, cook rice according to packet instructions. Divide rice amongst bowls. Top with meatball mixture and parsley. Season with pepper. Serve.
