  • 20 scallops, shelled, fresh
  • 4tablespoons butter, melted
  • 6 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
  • 1/2 red onion, peeled and diced
  • 100grams breadcrumbs
  • 1tablespoons olive oil
  • 2tablespoons parsley, fresh, chopped

Description

Tender scallops are even more delicious with a bit of crunch on top.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Pre-heat the oven to 200°C. Mix the scallops, melted butter, garlic and onion in a large bowl and place in a baking dish.

Step 2 of 3

Mix the breadcrumbs, olive oil and chopped parsley together and spoon on top of the scallops.

Step 3 of 3

Bake for 12-14 minutes until the topping is crisp and the scallops are cooked through.
