  • 156grams Patak’s Butter Chicken Paste
  • 75grams Patak’s Plain Mini Pappadums
  • 1 tbs vegetable oil
  • 500grams chicken thigh fillets, cut into 3cm pieces
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste
  • 1 cup pure cream
  • 1/4 cup sliced natural almonds, toasted
  • 1/4 bunch coriander, sprigs picked

Description

Make a dinner the whole family will love with this easy butter chicken recipe. Enjoy it topped with crunchy mini pappadums.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook, stirring, for 8 minutes or until chicken is browned all over.

Step 2 of 3

Add tomato paste, butter chicken paste, cream and 1/4 cup water, and bring to the boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and sauce thickens slightly.

Step 3 of 3

Top butter chicken with almonds and coriander. Serve with mini pappadums.
