  • 1 Woolworths choc hazelnut tart kit 9 pack
  • 1/3 cup caramel spread

Description

Golden, buttery pastry shells filled with a rich, creamy chocolate-caramel spread and sprinkled with hazelnuts make for a simple yet impressive dessert.

Use-it-up tip:
You can use up any bottled jam in place of the caramel spread in this recipe. Try raspberry or orange marmalade for a fruity twist.

Method

Step 1 of 5

Open kit and remove tart cases, filling and hazelnuts from packaging.

Step 2 of 5

Place spread in a bowl and stir until smooth. Spoon a little spread into each pastry case and spread to cover base.

Step 3 of 5

Snip off the end of the filling piping bag.

Step 4 of 5

Pipe mixture among pastry cases. Then, using the back of a small metal spoon, smooth tops.

Step 5 of 5

Sprinkle tarts with hazelnuts. Serve immediately.
