  • 500grams chicken, diced
  • 200grams mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes
  • 1tablespoons tomato paste
  • pinch salt
  • pinch pepper
  • 1tablespoons italian herbs
  • 1/2tablespoons sugar
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 1teaspoons garlic
  • 1 spinach, handful

Description

For a quick and tasty dinner, try this chicken gnocchi.

Method

Step 1 of 8

Cook gnocchi according to directions, drain and set aside.

Step 2 of 8

Meanwhile, cook the chicken until browned and set aside.

Step 3 of 8

Add onion and garlic to a saucepan (add oil if using saucepan that's not non stick) and saute until soft, approx 5 minutes.

Step 4 of 8

Add mushrooms to the onion mixture and cook for 1 minute.

Step 5 of 8

Add the cooked chicken to the pan along with the can of tomatoes, tomato paste, salt, pepper, Italian herbs and sugar. Mix to combine. Cook for 5 minutes.

Step 6 of 8

Add the cooked gnocchi to the saucepan. Stir to combine. Cook for a further 2 minutes

Step 7 of 8

Add the spinach. Once the spinach starts to wilt, your dish is done.
