Description

Try this quick and easy hack to making spinach and garlic naan bread. There’s no proofing necessary thanks to the use of Greek yoghurt in the recipe.

Method

Step 1 of 8

Combine flour, salt, sugar and baking powder in a bowl and mix well to combine. Make a well in the middle and add yoghurt, milk, and oil.

Step 2 of 8

Knead well with floured hands and turn out onto a floured surface. Divide dough into 4 segments, and roll each flat with a rolling pin.

Step 3 of 8

Brush dough with garlic butter, then top with a good sprinkle of spinach and cheese.

Step 4 of 8

Fold dough around the filling.

Step 5 of 8

Until you have a neat parcel, like so.

Step 6 of 8

Now take your rolling pin and gently roll it out flat. Brush your naan bread with a little more garlic butter.

Step 7 of 8

Pan fry until golden brown and fluffy.

Step 8 of 8

Serve and enjoy as a light lunch or as the perfect side for a curry.
