Whip up this easy, comforting Italian meal using leftover beef mince to make the budget stretch.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Place mince mixture and tomatoes in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook for 10 minutes or until heated through.
Step 2 of 3
Meanwhile, combine milk and 2 cups cold water in a medium saucepan. Bring to the boil over medium-high heat. Gradually add polenta, stirring constantly, until combined. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cook, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat. Stir in butter and parmesan. Season.
Step 3 of 3
Spoon polenta mixture among bowls. Top with mince mixture and oregano. Season and serve.
