- 4 sheets puff pastry
- 1/4 cup caster sugar
- 1tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 100grams unsalted butter, melted
Description
Skip the hard work and make these super simple puff-pastry cruffins instead. They're cinnamon-spiced and perfectly sweet for an afternoon treat.
Method
Step 1 of 4
Preheat oven to 200°C/180°C fan-forced. Grease a 12-hole, ⅓-cup-capacity muffin pan.
Step 2 of 4
Combine sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Place one sheet on puff pastry on a chopping board. Brush with melted butter. Sprinkle with a thin layer of sugar mixture, leaving a 2cm border. Top with remaining pastry sheet and press gently on the edges to enclose.
Step 3 of 4
Cut pastry into 6 strips. Twist each strip, then wrap around two fingers to create a small round. Place each round into prepared muffin pan holes. Repeat with melted butter, sugar mixture and remaining pastry.
Step 4 of 4
Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden. Brush pastries with remaining melted butter and toss in remaining cinnamon sugar. Serve.
