  • 125grams can corn kernels, drained
  • 1 small carrot, finely diced
  • 3 spring onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 bunch broccolini, trimmed, cut into 3cm pieces
  • 3teaspoons soy sauce
  • 50grams ham, diced
  • 250grams microwave white rice
  • 2teaspoons white sesame seeds, toasted
  • 200grams beef rump steak, cut into thin strips
  • 2teaspoons vegetable oil

Method

Step 1 of 3

Heat a frying pan over high heat. Add 1 tsp oil and swirl to coat. Add half the steak and cook for 2 minutes or until browned. Transfer to a bowl. Repeat with remaining steak.

Step 2 of 3

Heat remaining oil. Add spring onion, carrot and broccolini. Cook, stirring, for 2 minutes or until softened. Add corn, ham and cooled rice.

Step 3 of 3

Return beef to pan with soy sauce and sesame oil. Toss until well combined and heated through. Top with sesame seeds. Serve.
