  • 1teaspoons ground coriander
  • 1teaspoons ground turmeric
  • 1 lemon, slices
  • 2tablespoons olive oil

Method

Step 1 of 3

Cut through 1 side of each squid tube lengthways. Open out flat with inside surface facing up and score diagonally 2cm apart. Pat dry with paper towel. Slice into large triangular pieces.

Step 2 of 3

Combine oil, garlic, pepper, coriander and turmeric in a bowl. Add squid and set aside for 20 minutes to marinate.

Step 3 of 3

Preheat a barbecue or a chargrill pan over medium-high heat. Cook squid for 3 minutes each side. Serve with lemon slices and fresh coriander.
