Description

A great way to get children to eat fish, these sweet and sticky fish bites look and taste delicious.

Method

Step 1 of 5

Combine the soy sauce, rice wine, vinegar, sugar, honey, and oil in a small, heavy-based saucepan and bring it to the boil.

Step 2 of 5

Reduce the heat to a simmer and cook, uncovered, for 5 minutes, until the sauce has reduced. Allow it to cool.

Step 3 of 5

Turn the fish in the cooled sauce to coat, cover, and marinate in the fridge for 1 hour.

Step 4 of 5

Preheat the grill on its highest setting. Line a baking tray or grill pan with foil and spread out the marinated fish in a single layer. Sprinkle half the sesame seeds evenly over the fish.

Step 5 of 5

Grill the fish for 3-4 minutes, until it is beginning to turn crispy at the edges, then turn it over carefully, sprinkle with the remaining sesame seeds, and grill for a further 3-4 minutes.
