  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled and finely diced
  • 80grams panko bread crumbs
  • 2 medium egg
  • 8teaspoons milk
  • 40grams flour
  • 40grams mayonnaise

These crunchy artichoke bites are a delicious and different way to enjoy these vegetables

Method

Step 1 of 4

Drain the artichokes and set to one side. In 3 bowls, add the flour to one, milk, garlic and cracked/beaten eggs into the 2nd and bread crumbs into the 3rd.

Step 2 of 4

Dip the artichokes into the flour and cover fully, then dip them into the egg wash and finally wrap in breadcrumbs and set to the side.

Step 3 of 4

Shallow fry the artichokes on a medium heat for 5 minutes or until the crumb starts to brown.

Step 4 of 4

Carefully remove the artichokes from the heat and drain the excess oil by placing kitchen roll on a plate. Serve with mayonnaise or your choice of condiments.
