  • 1 cup self raising flour
  • 1teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2teaspoons bicarbonate soda
  • 2tablespoons oil
  • 2tablespoons vinegar
  • 1teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 1/2teaspoons icing sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup apple sauce
  • splash milk (if needed)
  • 1/4teaspoons salt
  • 1teaspoons vanilla essence
  • 1/4teaspoons nutmeg

Description

Delicious apple and cinnamon pancakes, that don't stick to the fry pan while cooking

Method

Step 1 of 4

In a bowl sift flour, bicarbonate soda, baking powder, icing sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt

Step 2 of 4

In another bowl mix together oil, vinegar, vanilla essence, egg and apple sauce

Step 3 of 4

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients lightly fold in together, add a little milk if it's too thick, don't over mix, let stand for 15 minutes

Step 4 of 4

Ready to cook, I use a pancake maker, but can be cooked in a fry pan.
