Instruction tip
Use-it-up tip:
No basil? No worries! Try using a little dried mixed herbs, chopped rosemary or parsley inside the balls.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Combine yoghurt, 2 cups flour and half of the parmesan in a large bowl to make a soft dough. Turn out onto a bench lightly dusted with extra flour and knead until smooth. Divide dough into 12 equal portions.

Step 2 of 3

Flatten 1 dough portion slightly and brush with 1 tsp passata, then top with 1 basil leaf and 1 cheese cube. Roll dough to enclose filling and shape into a ball. Place on a piece of baking paper. Spray with oil. Sprinkle with remaining parmesan. Repeat to make 12 pizza balls in total.

Step 3 of 3

Cook pizza balls in a 5L air-fryer basket, in batches, for 10-12 minutes or until golden-brown. Place on a platter. Sprinkle with remaining basil. Serve with remaining passata.
