Description

Savour the essence of summer with this refreshing, easy-to-make tea in which ripe, juicy strawberries, aromatic mint, and tangy oranges create a delightful symphony of flavours.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Hull strawberries, then thickly slice. Place sugar and three-quarters of the strawberries in a saucepan. Cut orange in half and juice 1 half. Add juice, 1 mint sprig and 3 cups water to pan. Cover and bring to the boil. Boil, partially covered, for 5 minutes or until mixture is fragrant.

Remove from heat. Add tea bags and cover. Allow tea to steep for 3 minutes. Strain mixture into a jug.

Step 3 of 3

Slice remaining orange half into thin rounds. Divide orange slices, remaining strawberries and remaining mint among glasses. Add tea mixture. Serve.
