- 3tablespoons packed light brown sugar
- 3tablespoons honey
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 12 small figs
- 25grams butter

Method
Step 1 of 2
Put the wine, sugar, honey, and cinnamon stick into a saucepan and simmer until the sugar has dissolved. Cut a small cross down into the top of each fig, using a sharp knife, then put into a greased baking dish. Pour the wine mixture over each fig and top each with a little of the butter.
Step 2 of 2
Bake in a preheated oven, at 200°C, for 10-15 minutes, until the figs are soft. Serve with yoghurt or crème fraîche and the sauce drizzled over the top.
