  • 1/4teaspoons bicarbonate of soda
  • 2tablespoons caster sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2teaspoons Queen 99% Sugar Free Vanilla Extract
  • 25grams unsalted butter, melted
  • 300mL thickened cream, whipped
  • 2 large bananas, sliced
  • 1/3 cup Queen Sugar Free Caramel Dulce De Leche Flavoured Topping
  • 1/3 cup Queen Sugar Free Chocolate Fudge Flavoured Topping
  • 1/3 cup pecans, toasted, chopped

Description

Flip into flavour heaven with these easy-to-make vanilla pancakes drizzle in decadent toppings.

Method

Step 1 of 3

To make pancakes, sift flour and bicarbonate of soda into a large bowl. Stir in sugar. Make a well in the centre. Add milk, eggs and vanilla and whisk to combine.

Step 2 of 3

Heat a large frying pan over medium heat. Brush with a little butter, then pour ¼ cup of the batter into pan, carefully spreading to form a 12cm-round circle. Repeat to make another pancake. Cook for 2 minutes or until bubbles appear. Turn over and cook for a further minute or until golden. Repeat with remaining batter, brushing pan with butter, to make 12 pancakes in total.

Step 3 of 3

Stack pancakes on plates with layers of cream and banana. Drizzle with chocolate and caramel topping. Serve sprinkled with pecans.
